South Padre Island has great fly fishing opportunities around the bay system and make for some of the best trips we do. This is why we offer lessons. You will learn the basics of fly fishing like casting, tying knots, and effective fishing strategies. After that you will be fighting big trout and reds in no time.




High quality custom tied flies on premium hooks that really catch fish in the Laguna Madre. The flies we sale have been extensively tested on live fish in the bay. If it doesn't catch fish it doesn't get reproduced and put out for sale. It goes in my trophy cup of, "well it seemed like a good thought". If you want a particular fly reproduced I'll tie most patterns at $4.00. I also produce some collector's flies that make great gifts. Our shop sells some fly tying supplies too.
